It is a happy move in the sense that we're happy to move away from our current situation... Huge HOA problems ($17000 missing), neighborhood going bad (two fires in a month and a half among other weird things), and only a third of the condo units sold due to title fraud, which we are still having to deal with.

It was a tough decision, but it's going to be for the best. Sigh. So yes, a happy move. Smile

Grats on the move.

Whatever happened to Finn, Fay and Cade? And Orcus or whatever his name is?

Thanks!

And interestingly enough, we will see a return of some players on the forum. Kade and Faylinn will be back. Altair will be back. Brian has been too busy to run Finn, but I'd rather give him a chance to return than make him an NPC.

Haven't heard back from Orcini.

I'm at work and won't be updating until later tonight, when I have my internet set-up.

Thank you for being patient!

The move is going well Smile , but my little one is running a fever. Sad

How are things for you guys?

Aww... poor little one.

I am baking. I just took the batch of cornbread (grandmother's recipe) out of the oven and am about to put in the biscuits (great grandmother's recipe) in preparation for the dressing (mother's recipe) I am making tomorrow. I also have a pecan pit and a strawberry pie to bake. Dough is resting in the fridge for the rolls.

Now I just have to keep my teenage werewolf from eating everything I'm cooking tonight so we'll have it for tomorrow.

We took the gamble of a long drive on the night before: it turned out pretty well, actually. Now I'm handling messages on my wife's iTouch at my in-laws, all set for a nice relaxed thanksgiving where I have very much to do but eat. Mellow.

Thanksgiving is going to be fun, but its the day after I fear. My store is opening at 5 am on Black Friday, and I have to be there at 4:30 am.

I hate my job, but I have told myself to try and keep a positive attitude about it all by making this my only year there. I hate the place, but it is an experience that I will be so much better for.

Or I will just hate people more than usual.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm mostly moved in and my desktop computer is finally set-up so I will be updating all of the scene and starting new ones for Faylinn and Arkadios tonight and tomorrow, when I'm less exhausted.

Hope you're all having a good time!

Had a great thanksgiving, and now (travels complete) we have a day to decompress.

Sounds like your move went fairly well, if you're already near the finish line. 'course, I expect the whole "unpacking the last few boxes" phase will last for months, but that's par for the course.

Get some rest. You've worked hard.

The NPC Registry is now nearly as done as I can imagine it being: Geographic breakdowns, PC-attachment breakdowns, and updates to the most recent events (hello Captain Russwald!) are all in. I may do some cosmetic updates, and of course I'll be keeping it up to date, but unless someone has an ingenious suggestion for new ways to sort and index the data, this is the registry as it will exist.

Anyone want to do a loose-end registry? I feel like we should be mapping the intestine-faced attackers in Windborne, and the wierd-ass black rock from the Pit to something.

Thanks Tony, the NPC registry is really useful and I've used it almost every day! Very Happy

I still got all of my books to move and paintings and all sorts of things we didn't 'need' right away (moved my RPG books today which was nice).

I am dreading moving the couch. It's big. Not a monster couch or anything, but I now have a small stairwell and I've been making a mountain out of moving it by thinking about it a bit too much... Plus the logistic of coordinating enough friends to handle it at the same time... Tough, but oh well Smile

Good to hear you had a good thanksgiving!

And yeah, I'm fully back on board now!

Oh, that is SWEET! thumbright

That'll dial up the pressure nicely.
