Finn grunts, and rides ahead. "Let's keep them looking at us, since you poked your stick into the hive." He looks ahead at the horizon, and leads them towards Silver City.

"And you only told Kade to leave it alone," Faylinn mutters under her breath. And then, normally, "I did not poke a stick into it. I am watching it, and it is watching in turn. It is trying to find me, and I said 'hello' to it. I do not know if it can understand me yet. If it can, I will ask it to leave."

Traveller makes his way next to Blake and Sha'lee. The three foreigners make their way out of the ghostly ranch. The last rays of sun have faded and the moon is already casting its glow all about.

Finn and Kade can feel the strength of the psychic field increasing a little bit as they travel toward Silver City. It feels more like an annoying ringing than something easy to tune to. There is no way to tune in accidentally, as far as they can tell.

"Fantastic." Finn replies dryly. "At least your are both curious." He signals for them to slow to a trot. "Let me know what is happening. Learn what you can. Remember, it is not benign, this could be whatever was taking the children to power their machines."

He looks ahead of him, squinting into the distance.

~Frightened people,~ she tells the hive. ~They do not understand what you are and feel they were attacked. Now that I think on it, I believe they did say that there were children in Silver City still. Perhaps they meant that you wear metal suits for protection?~

"Faylinn." Finn enunciates clearly, in a very similar manner to Ojirasan, who appreciated snarkiness even less than Finn. "I need to know what to do next. The City is not far off, and if it is laden with hostiles, I need to know if we should bypass or take action. I lean towards a dramatic version of the latter, if only to be certain." He pauses, "And to test a theory."

~We wear the skins of metal, that is true... But machines we are not. Come see... We are still in Silver City. We have not had visitors in so very long.
