The woman is done wrapping and tying her husks of corn and signals Mr. Fjarven over. He nods a quick greeting to April and asks the lady, "What can I do for you, Mrs. Marsh?" in a heavy accent.

"Would you have a wheelbarrow you could sell to this yound lady. And perhaps make some change for her, since she'll need to buy various supplies." Mrs. Marsh shows him the gold coin and Mr. Fjarven nods, looking April over, sizing her up. He reaches inside his jacket and produces a small black purse. He empties its contents at the stall in front of him and asks April, "Are you settled near here?"

On the wooden board are twenty silver coins, old looking, but clean and genuine. Mrs. Marsh pulls one towards her and sets down seven brass looking coins.

"Not really the settling type," April replies. She goes about the remainder of her shopping, making conversation where possible, but steering clear of any more pushing into local politics. Almost an hour later, she has a loaded wheelbarrow and is waving her thanks to the many merchants who have contributed to her haul.

The merchants wave and ask her to come back again when she has the chance, lingering a bit before returning to their business.
