Nihilistic Mind

This forum is designed specifically for Play-by-Post games and while I want to promote the use of the Amber Diceless system, other systems will be allowed, based on GM preference. I, as an administrator, am likely not to interfere at all, but let the GM for each game moderate their own section of the forums, which will be the Game/Campaign title.

GMs will get Moderator status for their own campaign forum. If you're a GM, please contact me so that we can get you set-up.

The things that must remain, for the sake of using a similar format will be the following (suggestions welcome):

*Announcements* thread:
This thread will cover any recent news pertaining to the game, including but not limited to: new player, players needed, game changes, availability of players/GMs, other Out-of-character announcements...

*Rules/Campaign Setting* thread:
Here, the GM will describe the game's setting and rules that will be used for the PbP campaign. Out-of-character questions about the setting should be posted here. The GM should describe new places and historical events in a general manner as much as possible, since this is likely to be the first place new players will visit. Also, if special formatting rules such as color-coding are required (to signify OOC comments or other specific instances), they should be posted here.

*Player Characters* thread:
Here, the GM/players will post information about the characters in play. How much information is up to the GM, whether a brief description or history is acceptable or a fully-detailed background will be entirely up to what the GM's requirements will be.

*Important Non-Player Characters* thread:
Using a similar format as what will be found in the *Player Characters* thread, the GM will post information about important NPCs that the PCs encounter in the game.

Other threads are up to how the GM wishes to moderate his/her game. It is common to have a thread for each different place/environment pertaining to the game, especially if the players are not together 100% of the time.

It is up to the GM to make sure that time flows the way it should and that no one player does not get too far ahead of the others time-wise... Thankfully, the Amber setting allows for varied timeflow throughout Shadow, which helps tremendously.
