King Eric: A powerful man, backed by many of his brothers and sisters. He faces a terrible situation: Amber, the eternal, is being slowly ravaged by the war waged by forces from Chaos.
Caine: Off in Shadow and often seen in Shadows of the Golden Circle, surely doing King Eric's bidding.
Gerard: Protecting the Golden Circle from advances of sea-faring forces out of Chaos.
Florimel: A major figure in the Court of Amber. One of King Eric's little helpers.
Julian: A reluctant ally of the King, he does as he is bid nonetheless. He sacrifices much to keep the Chaos Hordes from crossing Arden.
Corwin: Blind and tucked away in Amber Castle's oubliettes. It was he who opened the way for the malignant attacks upon Amber and the Shadows of the Golden Circle... Or was it King Eric's arrogance in the treatment of his younger brother?
Random: He remains in Amber Castle's prisons after an attempt on King Eric's life. His wife, Vialle, remains with him.
Llewella: Remains in Rebma.
Benedict, Bleys, Brand, Deirdre, Fiona, Oberon: whereabouts unknown. |
