He looks down at his chest, almost surprised to see the Jewel glow thusly. He strokes it twice as he looks her in the eyes and says, "I'm fine now. Shall we?" He offers his arm.
The glow dissipates with every beat until it fades.

As soon as Eric and April step into the dining hall all eyes are on the unexpected and unlikely couple. Eric smiles and nods politely. When they walk to the center of the room, a new song and dance begins and Eric takes the lead with April. Soon enough, the beautiful nobility resumes dancing as well, amidst whispers and flashing smiles.
