Wyatt awakens in time to join her, about a half hour after Rebecca "works her magic" reassuring the horses. Both of them notice some of Ganelon's men observing the behavior of the beasts, before and after and they seem very grateful for what the both of them do.

Helping the horses seems to do wonders on Wyatt as well. After all, it is the first time he and Rebecca have gotten to work like that together in a very long time.

[OOC: Is there something more that you wish to accomplish with this scene? I'm ready to move forward all the way to Rebecca's arrival to Greymoor. If you wish to contact anyone via trump, etc, let me know.]

Rebecca figures she can go another day at least without more then a cat nap, so after the horse are dealt with and they get something to eat, Rebecca stays with Wyatt while he sleeps. She doesn't patrol the camp, but she stays alert for any trouble and checks on the injured before she grabs a nap.

While Wyatt sleeps later in the morning, Rebecca spends some time studying the stones to see if she can suss anything out about them.

The camp is quiet and properly patrolled. Once again, Rebecca observes Ganelon's force at work and is not unimpressed. The men work well together and are motivated in doing even the most simple, boring tasks. More importantly, staying alert when duty asks for it rather than lazily stay awake and play cards, as she's seen many times in troops and platoons with more lax leaders and soldiers.

The Royal Guard rests although Sergent Ormes sets up his own rotation of guards, keeping a close eye on Wyatt and Rebecca.

Rebecca feels rested when she awakens from her nap. Wyatt continues to sleep peacefully.

Looking at the objects and studying them closely, Rebecca focuses her mind into them in succession to get a clue as to their true purpose.

The green stone. Opening her mind to it and taking the time to analyze its psychic structure and imprint reveals little. It gives off a vibrant reaction to her mind's presence there, as if it is activating. Rebecca feels a surge of energy course through her. It faints quickly. What the stone actually does is very unclear, even after some time spent studying it carefully. If it is anything like Peter's stone, it is likely to have the same properties. Healing, repairing simple tissue, perhaps more.

The grey stone. It looks completely ordinary and it seems to give off no energy whatsoever, though there is a certain resonance there, perhaps from being with the other items in the bag. Ordinary... Much too ordinary. It must have a function since the monster had it tucked away with the rest, but Rebecca can't pinpoint what it must be from her current study... It does not seem to react to her psychic prodding whatsoever, perhaps the trigger is different.

The cavalry force moves out at first dawn, continuing their trek through Shadow.
